How to request forwarding
- Review the mail photo in your email notification. Choose what to forward, scan, hold or destroy.
- Complete the mail forwarding request form with the delivery address and your consent.
- Salt Space creates the postage label and emails the label, receipt and invoice to you.
- Pay the invoice. Your mail is dispatched the next business day after payment.
You do not need to create an Australia Post MyPost label yourself.
What Does Mail Forwarding Cost?
$10 Handling Fee
A flat $10 handling fee applies to every forwarding request, covering our time to prepare and lodge your package.
+ Postage at Cost
Postage is charged at actual Australia Post rates based on the size, weight, and destination of your item.
💡 Your full invoice — including the handling fee and exact postage cost — will be sent to you before payment is required. Mail is only dispatched once payment is received.

📷 What’s in the notification email?
We send you the sender details and a photo of your unopened mail so you can decide how you’d like it handled before committing to anything.
📤 What are my options when mail arrives?
From the notification email you can choose to have your mail forwarded to an address you provide, opened and scanned to you digitally, destroyed securely, or held for you to collect in person.
📝 How does the forwarding form work?
When you choose to forward, click the link in your notification email. Our short form asks for your delivery address and your consent to forward — that’s all we need to get started.
🧾 When will I receive my invoice?
After you submit the forwarding form, we set up your package via Australia Post and send you a confirmation email. Attached to that email is your invoice (the $10 handling fee + actual postage costs), the package label, and the Aus Post receipt.
⏱️ When will my mail be sent?
Your mail is dispatched the next business day after payment is received.
💳 How do I pay?
Payment details are included in your invoice email. Mail is only sent once payment is confirmed.
🌏 Do you forward internationally?
Yes – we can forward to an international address you provide. Please note any special requirements in the forwarding form or contact us directly.
🏠 Can I forward to a different address each time?
Absolutely. You provide your delivery address each time you fill out the forwarding form, so it can be different for every request.
What We Don’t Forward Through Our Parcel Forwarding Service in Brisbane
- ❌ Perishable or refrigerated items
- ❌ Dangerous goods, chemicals, aerosols or flammable items
- ❌ Oversized freight or packages above 5 kg
- ❌ Unsolicited bulk advertising materials
